Got those after the update. Dunno how to remove it.
But about your "Error: Material" Try looking in your steamapps folder. If you have files called those they say are errors, delete them.

Sixsixone you put "-dxlevel 81" in console. Not in the launch options. Right click on CSS on steam > properties > set launch options.

(May be slightly different menu, just off the top of my head.)

-dxlevel 81 is the launch option

Once you set this once, take it out of your config or launch options, as if you don't it won't let you alt tab back in to games.

That being said, the only real reason to use dxlevel 81 was to fix the fog on ATI cards and it no longer fixes it. The update, instead of RESOLVING bugs like those stupid normal updates that people do, has actually broken any dirty fixes.

Another point to note on top of mobs is that if you don't remove -dxlevel from your launch options after you have set it once, it will reset your cs:s settings every time you launch the game. You only want to do it 1 time.
