Big fat O.o
de_dust and de_dust2 are being updated.

These are playable on the Valve servers ( search for tag "valve" )
It would be helpful to run these maps on your servers or bring people to the Valve ones so they can get thoroughly tested.

When the maps stabilize they will be merged into the CS:S depot.

Please follow the following guidelines when posting:

1. Mention the map and version you're posting about (e.g. de_dust2_v103)
2. If it's a bug or exploit, mention when it was introduced.
3. If it's a bug or exploit, give setpos and screenshot.

----------------------------------------------------------
2010-7-27 B
----------------------------------------------------------
de_dust2 ( de_dust2_v104 )
- Fixed player getting stuck at double doors
- Fixed wrong texture in interior arch
- Fixed gaps in ground
- Textured visible nodraw roof from T spawn
- Fixed newly blocked window (short A)
- Fixed hole in sky clip (long A)
- Clipped off awkward high position on rocks near CT spawn

----------------------------------------------------------
2010-7-27
----------------------------------------------------------
de_dust2 ( de_dust2_v103 )
- halved tonal range ( reduced HDR effect )

de_dust ( de_dust_v102 )
- halved tonal range ( reduced HDR effect )

----------------------------------------------------------
2010-7-26
----------------------------------------------------------
de_dust2 ( de_dust2_v102 )
- fixed a bunch of exploits.
- matched dust cloud visibility to DX8.

de_dust ( de_dust_v101 )
- matched dust cloud visibility to DX8.
- matched de_dust2's HDR characteristics.

Thanks!

WTF? Is that the rock people use to look above a smoked door? Hardly awkward when lots of people use it...

Now I hate CS:S again and I havent even played it today!

They may mean the rocks which you could boost up onto near the wall, if you did it right you could walk on the rocks and have you whole body above the door :D

I like the new update for the steam chat. Makes it much more 'tidy'.

Will Stop advertising other servers.

I'm not sure if i like the tab feature yet, i haven't really had a chance to try it. I think i would rather have the seperate windows though, makes it all easier.

I haven't checked but maybe there's an option in settings to change it?
MSN plus does the same thing, and you can select to have multitabs instead of windows or not

I like the idea, time will tell if it is comfortable. I hated having like 10+ steam windows open at a time.

New update on the CSS Beta -
- Fixed ragdolls popping when using mp_fadetoblack 1
- Fixed a buffer overrun exploit that could be used to attack/crash servers.
- Fixed a crash at startup when no sound emitter scripts were loaded.
- Fixed a crash that could happen if a custom model was loaded with missing materials.
- Fixed a case where alt-tabbing crashed the game.
- Fixed a potential crash in the shaders.
- Removed the client console commands "mat_supress" and "mat_debug"
- Fixed a case where alt-tab would stop rendering models.
- Smoke Grenades:
increased density.
increased duration.
reverted elasticity change.
- Changed walk speed to be 0.52x of run speed ( Counter-Strike 1.6 )

Most disturbing part is the: - Changed walk speed to be 0.52x of run speed ( Counter-Strike 1.6 )

Wish they would stop changing the gameplay. Fixes are great and so are most improvements. But changing movement speed is quite a major change, even if it is very slight.
