As a community server, there are no obligations to donate to keep the server running. However, the UK Nemesis dedicated server was a reality because of donations. These donations all go toward UK Nemesis costs, be it server upkeep, dedi-rental fees, website hosting, HLStats, development & improvements. If the server funds ever exceed the monthly cost, all donations will be kept for future costs.
Donation FAQs:
- â–º How much should I donate?
- This is entirely up to you, some players regually donate £5-£10 a month, others a one-off payment of a higher value and many other amounts. A donation can never be too little, and certainly never too much!
- Simply click the button down the left-hand side of the screen, beneath the Links / Affiliates block. PayPal is currently the main form of payment transfer, however we are looking into text-message donations. You may retract your donation for whatever reason within the week of donating (-% of current PayPal transfer rate). If you prefer to make another form of payment, please contact me
.- This depends on the amount you donate. As a general rule, £5-8 will grant you donator status for a month, higher amounts will double or triple this time and always represents the value of your contribution.
- Donating will reward you with access to the server reserve slots. All uk:N servers have unlimited reserve slots, so you can join whenever you like. Apart from supporting the community, you will receive the following:
With the new website arriving there will be a number of changes to the donation system - all of which positive. There will be a lot more flexibility with what we can do as a community.
